PaRDeS - Four Levels of Understanding

Hebrew - The Language of Heaven

Hebrew is the wonderful, majestic language of heaven. It was created and used by Yehováh
( the Lord ) ELohim ( God ) of IsraEL, as part of the Creation of the heavens and the earth.

Each of the letters contains meanings, definitions, understandings and teachings. When letters are combined together into a word, they tell stories. When words are combined together in a verse, they expand on the meanings and expound on the stories, which then teach and reveal various spiritual Principles, Truths and Ways of the Kingdom of ELohim / Kingdom of Heaven.

Words in Hebrew teach and reveal spiritual principles that we need to know, learn, understand and apply in our lives and walk with the Messiah. These spiritual ways and truths often go far beyond what is just written in the literal text of the Scriptures, as seen in various translations.

PaRDeS - The Four Levels of Meaning and Understanding

Words in Hebrew teach and reveal spiritual principles that we need to know, learn, understand and apply in our lives and walk with the Messiah. These spiritual ways and truths often go far beyond what is just written in the literal text of the Scriptures, as seen in various translations.

So another unique characteristic about the heavenly Hebrew language is the following. Hebrew words can contain up to Four ( 4 ) Levels of Understanding at the same time. This means that for a given word, verse or passage, there can actually be up to four true, correct and applicable meanings, definitions, understandings and interpretations, at the same time.

Therefore, sometimes, it is just not even possible to properly, correctly, accurately or completely - translate - all of the possible meanings, definitions, understandings and interpretations, which are contained or hidden in a particular verse or passage.

Thus, sometimes, Hebrew words must be explained, instead of being translated. And this may require and involve a lot of explanations, descriptions and examples of other verses to show and demonstrate.

Consequently, for this reason, sometimes, just one or two Hebrew words hold the “key” to unlocking the deep, rich and / or more correct, complete or accurate meanings, understandings and interpretations of a verse or passage.

Therefore, what people see and read in English ( or other languages ) could only contain just one of those possible meanings, definitions, understandings and interpretations. And this means that there is often so much more to the fullness, meaning, depth and richness, of what a verse or passage is saying or teaching, than what believers can actually see when reading in English or in any other language.

What are the Four Levels of Meaning and Understanding?

Can also be thought of as the “Letter of the Law”

1. P - ( Peh-shaht  פְּשָׁט ) – This is the Simple, Plain or Literal meaning of the words in the text. It includes what they mean in the very literal or direct sense. It is the Surface level meaning. It is also a straight-forward understanding of what is actually written.

Can also be thought of as the “Spirit of the Law”

2. R - ( Reh-mez  רֶמֶז ) – This is the Hidden, Deep or Symbolic hint meaning, understanding, or interpretation of the text.

3. D - ( Deh-rahsh  דְּרַשׁ ) – This is the Comparative meaning of the text, which is determined by comparing it with other passages that teach or reveal something connected or related to it. Thus, it expands on the meaning and understanding, or explains something important about it. This level of learning and understanding is based on the Hebrew word which means:
"To Search ( Out )" ( lih-deh-rosh  לִדְרֹשׁ ; To Seek ; To Inquire ).

4. S - ( Sohd  סוֹד ) – This is the Mystery meaning, which is given by direct inspiration or revelation by the Holy Spirit.

Re-Arrangement of Letters in Words That Form Other Words

In addition to the above, it is possible to re-arrange Hebrew letters that are in a word, or in a group of words, in a verse - to form other words, which then contain deep mysteries and astonishing revelations. This re-arrangement of letters of words in Hebrew is also part of the supernatural aspect of the PaRDeS.

Moreover, when this is done, the new words form "word pictures", which always relate to, connect to and / or further explain - the specific text and context that they are included in. This is by design and intent of our Creator, when he formed the Hebrew language at the Creation.

This re-arrangement of letters in words, or a group of words, within a verse - exists repeatedly, in the writings of Moses ( and the Hebrew Prophets ). As we go along in our teachings, we show and explain some of these incredible mysteries and astounding revelations.

We provide the following examples, which are shown and explained in

Book-1: "Born Again Christian is Born From Above Hebrew".

  • We discover the letters of "Yeshua + Lifted Up + Cross", in a certain verse, which already reveals an astonishing prophecy about the crucifixion of the Messiah. Is that incredible?

  • We find the letters of "Rib + He will Die" and "Rib + He will be Put to Death", which is another mind-boggling prophecy about His crucifixion. Moreover, in that place, it includes the  specific detail prophecy, which reveals that He will die by a piercing of His body below His ribs. This of course is speaking about when Roman soldier thrust his sword into the side of Messiah while hanging on the cross. Is this mind-boggling?

  • Then in another prophetic verse, written by one of the Hebrew Prophets, about the National Redemption and Salvation of IsraEL, at the End of the Age, we show the letters for the words "Yeshua  + Palm + Cross". How astonishing is this?

This incredible function and characteristic, which is built-in to the Hebrew languages, clearly establishes that only our Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresent, Almighty Creator, could have designed and constructed this powerful and majestic language.

He then used it to write His Word, by His Holy Spirit, in such incredible ways, that these things astounding prophecies exist in the various multiple levels of meaning, understanding and interpretation of the Hebrew words, verses and passages, which Moses and the Prophets wrote.

This re-arrangement of Hebrew letters, in words or phrases in a verse, which then forms other specific and descriptive words, that reveal messianic prophecies about the Messiah – is surely and absolutely not something man-made.

No person could simply make these things up. No one could somehow manipulate the Hebrew letters in the text, time after time, so that they always reveal more deep, powerful, incredible mysteries and revelations about the Messiah, that connect to the very verse they are found in.

This supernatural aspect of the Hebrew language is an amazing part that Yehováh ELohim built into it, when He established Hebrew - as the language of heaven and creation, in the beginning.

It thus reveals His glory, majesty, power, might and awesomeness, as He used many men
( Moses and the Hebrew Prophets ), from various walks of life, over a period of about 1,500 years – to write His Word, which is all about Him.

And altogether, all the genealogies, events, accounts, stories and lives of the ancient patriarchs, and then the people of IsraEL - somehow, individually and collectively, by His incomparable wisdom and design - foretell various aspects of the life and ministry of His beloved Son.

No one could try to re-arrange the Hebrew letters of words or phrases in a verse – in order to force them to show a picture and tell a story, that just so happens, then further explains and expounds on the meaning of the actual text that is written there.

Moreover, no one could try to re-arrange the Hebrew letters of words or phrases, in verse after verse, chapter after chapter, book after book, of the Scriptures – so that they always reveal and teach the very same ways, principles and truths of the Kingdom of ELohim.

Finally, no one could try to re-arrange the Hebrew letters of words or phrases, and force them to repeatedly reveal the most important events in all of the Bible – the Crucifixion, Death, Burial, Resurrection and Ascension of the Redeemer and Savior - Yeshúa.

Only the Creator of the Universe, the Almighty, in His infinite wisdom, knowledge, power, glory and majesty and might – could do all of this.

By the way, there is a certain passage in the Hebrew Scriptures which actually teaches and reveals that there are these Four ( 4 ) Levels of Understanding. So this is surely not  some man-made or rabbinical Jewish concept or idea. The Scriptures themselves teach it.
